Home Sweet Home
You Found Me!
Hi, hello, welcome, hi (again), I go by Technoodles, or Noodles on the interweb! It's so awesome to see you here! I made this website because I wanted to, well, give something to the ever-generous online world and keep my internet postcard forever hung on the digital corkboard, among other things. I'm new to this coding thing and am really trying my best to get better at it, so maybe expect some mess-uppy things to accidentally happen here, and don't be surprised if it looks like I've copy pasted a design off somewhere else (I'm just trying things out ;-;).
Feel free to stay here and explore this (so far bare bones) site, or leave and never return, I honestly don't mind! As long as you enjoy your stay, I'm more than happy to have entertained you. If you wanna check me out on the socials I'm comfortable sharing, the links will hopefully work on the sidebar to your left. If they don't work, then I have failed you and I am sorry T^T
Who Am I?
The Me
If you skipped the big chunk of text above, then fear not, for I will repeat my name again! I'm Technoodles, or Noodles for short. English is my mother tongue, but I have been learning German for the past 5 years when the scary Covid kept us in our homes. I live in [REDACTED] and I'm [REDACTED] years old! Oh no... why is it redacted? Uhm, yeahhh, about that. I've always valued privacy on the internet, and it's very hard to stay annonymous these days, so don't hate me for being "secretive" please and thanks ^-^ I will share hobbies and the like, but anything that could jeopardize my identity is a no no. Surely you understand, right? Anyway, moving on...
I have a bit of the tism and high definition AD, so unsurprisingly I love to fixate on super specific things for, like, a few weeks at least or every single second at most. I'll specify my interests later on though, right now I want to talk about Neocities for a quick minute!
Let's get this swinging off the bat immediately, I god- uh, goshdarn LOVE this place. I mean, without it you wouldn't be seeing this right now! I discovered the website after finding another called Localghost. Now, I've always loved Y2K and 90s website designs, Geocities having been a place that I had the misfortune of missing out on, but the big love for how its surviving communities felt while growing up on the internet, seeing how it inspired people and independently run websites. So, when I found Neocities and read about it, I felt like a kid again! I'm not exaggerating when I say that I spent literal hours flicking through the websites people made on it, smiling nonstop. And after making my own account on Neocities, it was only a matter of time until I decided to make my own website! I learnt the basics to HTML and CSS, I watched YouTube videos that helped me to find more things that made coding easier to begin my website, and I kept looking at the preexisting websites to get inspiration from them. Once I was ready, I started making what you're looking at right now... and here we are. This is it. I have a lot of work to do, but I'll love it all the same!
Okay, phew, that took a lot longer to type than it is to read. I think we can talk about my hyperfixations now, yippie!!
